MEET BOBA

Last month, I was out enjoying my town's local matsuri, when I passed a shop displaying a big tank of red-eared slider hatchlings. They were so cute. I couldn't resist.

750 yen later, I have a turtle.

Meet Boba.

Named after the infamous bounty hunter from Star Wars, of course.

redux

I know it's been... about 2 and a half years... since my last art update... but I'm attempting to revive here what I left on LiveJournal, and migrated all my posts over. Only the most recent are actually visible or have working links, as I don't imagine anyone is going to go through the trouble to go back that far. (and it's all on my site anyway) but anyhow, what matters is I want to start posting art again!!! ;;;_;;;

A freelance gig I did for a JP card game in June. They asked for a booby dryad. This isn't what the final version turned out to be, but that's out of my hands :) You'll have to excuse the suck as this is entirely far off and different from what I am used to drawing, but I've been trying to be more experimental lately. Got lots of tips from my very talented coworkers.

BOOBS. BUTT.

uhhh very old guest art I did for Mid and Febby's No.6 anthology... last... year... /)_(\

wah I miss manga...TAT

and some vector practice I did when applying for a job. Well, more like they asked if I was fluent with Illustrator. I said yes- which really meant, no, I haven't touched it in years and can't use it for beans, buuut I will learn it in a week! 8DDD

NYA

So like what happened in the past 2+ years?
... life.
... job.
... damn job.
...yeah that's about it really. Can't really post the stuff I've done for work as I'll get killed for it. Will just have to fill in the blanks some other time. In the meantime, I hope to keep this blog more regular! >___<

Hi  again!!! \o/
